The technology center of China Environmental Technology Holdings Limited was formally established on April 18th, 2011 in Qingdao, based on the Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute, which is the head of municipal engineering design institutes in China. The Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute has a professional team of an academician of Chinese academy of engineering, four national design masters, industry leaders, academic pacesetters, and experts receiving the state council special allowance, and can undertake the municipal engineering projects in more than twenty one industries with the certificate of Engineering Design Integrated Qualification Class-A.

The technology center has currently more than thirty technology staff, and can undertake the design jobs of municipal engineering, water supply and drainage, irrigation works, cityscape environment, ect., mainly including the research & development and application of magnetic separation sewage treatment technology in the following new water treatment fields such as medium-sized and small cities, new countries, river and lake landscape water, high oil, high salt and high phosphorus, etc., the composite application of magnetic separation sewage treatment technology and biological treatment, the design and criterion making of the second and third generations vehicle-mounted and ship-mounted device systems, and research and development and application of other advanced water treatment technologies and related environmental technologies. With persistent endeavor and comprehensive combination of industry, academia and the research community, the center will carry out the company’s core value of guided by science and technology, based on the advances devices, achieving the harmony between human and nature and creating the wonderful life through the ecological improvement brought by the science and technology.
